I am back on the mainland and blogging from Seattle with South Austin in the rearview mirror. Don't worry Virgin Island fans, I will most certainly be back in the Caribbean for visits if not full-time. And I'm sure St. Thomas will creep it's way into many future posts. For now, it's all about living in the Pacific Northwest!

Hat & Boots

Where might you find such things? Texas (you might guess) but you'd be wrong (this time).

This Hat & Boots are hidden away in a neighborhood outside of Seattle.  It's number eight on the Seattle.Gov website and sits snugly between the Hammering Man and Archie McFee.

My hosts had done time in STT with me and so were familiar with and one of them mostly responsible for the invention of the "Trifecta Day".  In STT, a Trifecta Day typically included jet skis (thanks Jet Ski Mike), a parasail fly & dunk (Besos, Glen), and or a ferry ride to St. John.  * Sometimes though it just meant three different bars.

So, it was only fitting to bring the trifecta to Seattle. Here's the rundown:

1. The Fremont Troll (less than a block from their casa!)
2. Hat & Boots
3. Hammering Man

The Bonus:
* Famous Graves (Bruce & Brandon Lee - we didn't make it to Hendrix)
